This game is awesome. Has the potential of being educational for my little boy. Would like to see more subtle nudges they would prop kids and education. Great potential for subtle nods on ecosystems, niches, natural resources, etc. nothing to the point the game becomes boring or anything. Like I said, just subtle nudges.

But it crashes upon opening. I have gotten no farther than the beginning with the guy standing there and you either move him or look around. Ive installed and uninstalled and installed over again and nothing works. Too bad.

(Read to the end for news about the MASSIVE upcoming update) First of all, I think this a great game. The graphics are pretty good for an IOS game, though the polygons are annoying obvious at times. I love the whole "exploration for the sake of exploration" concept, though I see why some wouldnt like it. While this certainly isnt a game that should be played 24/7, it is enjoyable in short bursts. But onto the reason anyone is reading this, the massive upcoming update. An update isnt a really good term for this. A better way to describe it would be "reinventing itself". This new update has far enhanced graphics (from what Ive see, basically console quality). It also contains more options for the player. There will be more to interact with in the world, in addition to more player choices. The game will allow you to play as a male or female character, whichever you choose. It will also include a storyline and more traditional RPG elements. It will also include an enhanced musical score. But now the only piece of bad news. This update is so massive, that it will be released as an entirely new game, called Nimian Legends: Brightridge HD. That however, is the only bad news. I hope you all enjoy the game and the new game, and sorry for the extremely long review.

I like the graphics a lot. I just started playing it and it has some interesting options and aspects. Its has RPG elements, a world to explore--what more could you want? I bet it has its flaws but its very nice thus far. (I only played a few minutes).

This deserves front and center attention among the few gems in the App Store that never get a banner. Unless of course it gets a "Angry" "Flappy" "Hoppy" Cloney name in front of it along with $99 IAP.

Finally a game I can really get into! No complicated rules to learn; just explore and have fun! Would be cool to see something like this in VR someday.

Crashes after loading the game. I got to just do two of the tutorial at the first of the game and then as I was walking the game crashed. I am running the game on iPad mini 2 and after getting to load this far I cannot get the game to load any further than the first screen. Nice graphics but I cannot tell how the game is because I have not been play long enough to know how it is. So give two stars for graphics and thats all.

…and then not save any of your progress. Two stars for apparent effort. Maybe worth the price of free.

I feel like the game could be great if it was even a LITTLE bit story driven. It just put me in a Huge, impressive world, with no guide on what to do. I wondered around for a few minutes and didnt find any animals (I assume there are some) but it doesnt give you much to do. Maybe some character customization...VILLAGES or other NPCs would be cool. Gear and stuff. Idk.

I can tell son put a lot of time and effort into making this so I have to give them credit for that. I had problems with a few bugs, the jumping, the controls, to name a few. My biggest problem is that there dozen. BSE feature so whenever I get to that in and then to wherever I meant to go next, something else comes up and then I come back to the game and I have to start all over. This is essentially an instant delete for me. Best of luck with the paid version!

I got this game thinking I would love it because Im the type of guy who likes open world games. I booted it up exactly 5 times including a reboot of my device and when I pressed play, it loaded for a bit then crashesp

Due to all the reviews Ive read, this game costed money in the past. Today is April 5 2016 and this game is free. It looks beautiful and why not give it a try? I have been looking for open world games since 2013 and to be honest, this looks like the best open world game of all Ive seen.

Selling an app and then making it free eventually is one thing-- making it the "free version" to a different enhanced app that costs $ is a horrible trick to play on people who gave you money. I will never buy anything from you again. Shame on you.

Wish there was more to it but I cant complain; its beautiful looking. Would benefit from equipment, levels, more monsters, quests, and everything else. I understand however thats NOT what they were going for when they made the game, so for what it is and the design they were going for its amazing. Thank you.

Wow this is exactly what I was looking for in a game. Large open world without seeming Im looking at the same things in different places. Im gonna get the full version and ask that you do bring it to the other platform(4ndr0!d). I would like to see this on a Mac or pc. Great game and with cool features. Im just amazed with this version I just want it on every platform I own. Thanks again for the best open world on the mobile platform. The Best.

I payed 2 dollars for the original version, and now its free. You are saying that there is ANOTHER payed version? Wow. Its still a good game, though. But be careful because I payed money for this game, and now its free and there is another payed version.
